S62 Heat Exchanger Delete Kit
The Einhorn Heat Exchanger Delete Kit. The kit comes complete with all the pieces to permanently remove the heat exchanger found in the valley floor of the S62 engine. Deleting the heat exchanger is highly recommended when adding an oil cooler set up and/or adding a forced induction supercharger kit. But for those that just want to eliminate the possibility of oil and coolant leaks originating from the frequently overlooked O-rings of the heat exchanger, this kit is the perfect solution. There is welding required on the thermostat housing to plug the middle port that feeds coolant to the heat exchanger. This kit comes with new Genuine BMW 0-rings to replace each the old & worn out O-rings when removing the heat exchanger and oil control valve.
